  • 10 jalapeño peppers (half seeded)
  • 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 5½ cups sugar
  • 1½ cup white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (3-ounce) pouch liquid pectin

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing and keeping your canning jars warm while making the jelly.
  2. In a food processor, finely chop the jalapeños and bell peppers. Drain excess liquid using a mesh strainer.
  3. In a large stock pot, combine the chopped peppers, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the pectin and boil for an additional minute before removing from heat.
