  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Juice of lemon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Grill the chicken on medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. Toss halved Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on a baking sheet at 200°C (390°F) for about 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in flour for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and add minced garlic; simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan until smooth and season to taste.
  5. Assemble bowls by layering sliced chicken and roasted sprouts, then generously drizzling with creamy sauce.
