  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz smoked gouda cheese (or liquid smoke)
  • Fresh chives
  • Dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Soft butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grate the zucchini and mix with ½ teaspoon of salt; let sit for 10 minutes to draw out moisture. Squeeze out excess liquid.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until combined. Stir in the gouda cheese (and liquid smoke if using), chives, dill, remaining salt, and white pepper.
  4. Fold in the prepared zucchini until evenly mixed.
  5. Grease a 9-inch pie dish with soft butter and pour in the zucchini mixture.
