  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 32 ounces confectioners' sugar (sifted)
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk (up to ½ cup)
  • Pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened unsalted butter in a stand mixer with the whisk attachment on medium-high speed until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix briefly.
  3. Gradually add the sifted confectioners' sugar while mixing on low speed until combined.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk and add a pinch of kosher salt, scraping down the bowl as necessary.
  5. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and whip for at least 3 minutes until fluffy; longer if desired for an even lighter texture.
  6. Adjust consistency with additional milk as needed before decorating your desserts.
